Ashton Silva

Born and raised in Arlington, Virginia, Ashton began her love of the Forensic realm while taking extracurricular Forensic Science and Biotechnology classes in high school. After graduating with an Associate’s Degree in General Studies at the Northern Virginia Community College in 2008, she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology from George Mason University, accepting invitation in the Lambda Alpha National Anthropological Honor Society for academic excellence. A graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, Ashton received a secondary Associate’s degree in Specialized Technology in Funeral Arts and Sciences, and is the recipient of the William J. Musmanno Memorial Award for achievement in the clinical setting. An only child, Ashton enjoys travelling throughout North and South America, fishing, 4-wheeling, playing the piano and zip-lining across mountainous terrain. When she is not watching one of her 500+ collection of Horror movies, she is building Legos and playing video games with her son.

Sam C.

I was born in Nebraska and raised in Germany and Virginia because I was raised in a military family. I, myself, am a two tour Army combat veteran, and I served for 11 years.

I joined the Northern Virginia Burial and Cremation Society in June of 2016, and received my crematory operator license in the spring of 2017.

I am married with three children, and I enjoy my time with them when I am not working.
